UEFA AWARDS 2028 AND 2029 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINALS TO MUNICH AND BARCELONA
UEFA has confirmed the venues for two future UEFA Champions League finals, with Munich and Barcelona set to host the showpiece matches in 2028 and 2029 respectively.
The Allianz Arena in Munich will stage the 2028 final, while the 2029 final will be played at the Camp Nou in Barcelona.The decision gives Barcelona another opportunity to host Europe’s biggest club final at its famous stadium, which is undergoing major redevelopment.
For Munich, it will be another Champions League final at a stadium that has already hosted major European fixtures, including the 2012 and 2025 Champions League finals.
The 2027 Champions League final is scheduled to take place at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid.
