TAIWO AWONIYI EARNS POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA WITH MERIT AS NIGERIAN STRIKER CONTINUES LIFE OFF THE PITCH
Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has added another academic achievement to his football career after graduating from the PFA Business School with a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship with Merit.
The 29-year-old Nigerian announced the achievement on social media, describing it as another proud moment away from football.
Awoniyi wrote that he is “still playing, still learning” as he continues to combine his professional football career with education and development outside the pitch.
The Coventry City forward has previously earned a Diploma in Business Administration and Marketing Management from the London School of International Business in 2020 and later completed a degree in Business Management at Buckinghamshire New University in 2022.
Awoniyi’s latest qualification adds another dimension to his career and could prove valuable in football administration and leadership when his playing days eventually come to an end.
The Nigerian striker joined Coventry City permanently from Nottingham Forest in August 2026, with reports putting the transfer fee at around £9 million.
