ERIC CHELLE ARRIVES NIGERIA AS SUPER EAGLES PREPARE FOR AFCON QUALIFIERS
Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has arrived in Nigeria as preparations continue for the country’s upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
Chelle’s arrival comes at an important period for the national team, with the coach expected to continue assessing players ahead of Nigeria’s upcoming competitive fixtures.
The coach is also reportedly using the period to monitor younger Nigerian players as he looks toward the future, including players who could form part of Nigeria’s Olympic plans.
Chelle’s task will include managing player selection, assessing form and dealing with injury concerns as the Super Eagles build towards their next AFCON qualifying matches.
Nigeria will be hoping for a strong qualifying campaign as the team looks to secure its place at the next Africa Cup of Nations.
